The Jutland School of Singing

The Jyske Sangskole was established based on the conviction that talent is found everywhere. And we believe more in the importance of environment than in the importance of heritage when it comes to how far you can go with your talent. The Jyske Sangskole's model for teaching singing and music to talented children and young people is unique in Denmark. We have sought inspiration in the world of sport and in Team Denmark's model, and offer young singing talents a demanding and professionally organized musical training course alongside their regular schooling.

The Jyske Sangskole is a stable supplier of singers to conservatories, the opera academy and the universities' music institutes. The Jyske Sangskole's mission is to promote singing in Denmark. The ambition is that Den Jyske Sangskole forms a national and international platform for the development and exchange of all aspects of the work with young singing voices. We take the initiative for projects which aim to support choral environments in Denmark and promote singing culture in primary schools.
