In the Gedhus Museum at Flyvestation Karup you can follow the development of the historic air station up to the present day.

Get really close to Karup Airport's history

In addition to pictorial material about the construction of the airfield, the museum can show several effects from the start of the Danish defense and later the establishment of the Air Force in 1950. 

A historic location

The museum is located in the area where the Germans built Fliegerhorst Grove during World War II, and where the Danish Air Force from 1950 gained a base.

The Gedhus Museum is only open on Wednesdays

August: 10.00 - 17.00

September and October: 13.00 - 16.00
