HEART - Herning Museum of Contemporary Art

HEART - The Herning Museum of Contemporary Art originated in the borderland between art and business and was carried forward by the nationally known shirt manufacturer Aage Damgaard, who has created the foundation for the museum's collection.

With Steven Holl's unique architecture as a backdrop, guests at HEART can experience world-class contemporary art. HEART presents 3-4 exhibitions annually with some of the greatest contemporary Danish and international artists.

HEART shares a house with Ensemble MidtVest, which consists of young, ambitious and dedicated classical musicians specializing in chamber music.

We also offer events for both businesses and individuals. We have the following facilities and capacity:

Meeting room (20 guests)
Workshop and mezzanine (50 guests)
Foyer for conferences (300 guests)
Concert and lecture hall (150 guests)
HEART Café (150 guests)
