Egeparken - The sculpture park in Birk

Egeparken - The sculpture park in Birk, Herning was designed by landscape architect C. Th. Sørensen, one of Denmark's leading landscape architects, who also designed the Geometric Gardens in Birk. There is a bust of him at the entrance to the Geometric Gardens. 

The circular park was laid out at the same time as Angligården in 1965. 

The sculpture park offers contemporary art by various artists with a variety of styles, materials and genres. Several of the works were created in Herning, while the artists were invited here by Bitten and Aage Damgaard to work with the art.

There is free access to the park.
