The Geometric Gardens, like the rest of the museum area in Birk Centerpark, was laid out by garden architect Professor C. Th. Sørensen's plans.

The gardens are built around the principle of "complexity of simplicity", as they are governed by a fairly simple set of geometrical rules, which, however, are not immediately clear to the visitor.
The basic module, at 11 meters, is repeated in all "walls", and for each new "room" you enter, the "room" is added a new page.
The hedges, which are of hornbeam, were planted in 1984.
