Den Gamle Købmandsgård in Uhre

The old merchant farm in Uhre now functions as a merchant museum and gallery for changing exhibitions with different themes. The special characteristic of the grocer's farm is that the shop is furnished in an authentic style and completely in accordance with the original shop.

A mixed country trade
The grocery museum consists of a shop, back room, office, beer hall, beer cellar, warehouse and wagon shed. Guests are very welcome to book a guided tour of the grocery store to get an insight into life in what was then run as a mixed country store. It was a place where people came not only to shop, but also to exchange news, as the old gossip bench in the shop testifies.

The grocery store is housed in a red stone property that was built around the year 1850 as a farmhouse with a hall for gymnastics and parties.

Købmandsgården is open every Sunday of the year (January closed) from 14 - 17 or by appointment. 

From 1/7 - 10/8 it is open every day between 14 - 17.
