Western Plant

Vestre Anlæg was founded in 1894 as a small fine amusement park with a flower garden. 

Unfortunately, the flower garden was later closed down. Herning Municipality decided that the flower garden should be re-established. So a flower garden has now been established. The garden is intended as a small oasis, where the play of colors and flora of the beds can be enjoyed and observed and provide space for calm, contemplation and reflection.

The facility's popular playground was renovated in 2017. The background was to create a more unified and sculptural playground that integrates various play and fitness functions in a system of wooden poles.
